Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Routine Dose Planner (referred to as "we", "our", or "the app") handles data when you use our mobile application on iOS devices, and when you visit our website.
1. Core Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy and medical tracking security are our absolute priorities. Routine Dose Planner does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information, medication history, or vital signs.
Specifically:
- No User Accounts: You do not need to register, create an account, or log in to use the app.
- Local sandboxed storage: All configuration data, active medication routines, dose logs, and changes you record are saved strictly locally on your device via iOS system sandboxed SwiftData storage.
- No Third-Party Tracking: The app contains no SDKs for advertising, analytics, or behavioral tracking.
2. Apple iCloud Syncing
If you have iCloud enabled on your iOS device, Routine Dose Planner utilizes Apple’s secure CloudKit API to keep your database synchronized across your personal devices. This synchronization runs entirely on Apple's servers using your private Apple ID. We have no backend databases, servers, or access to your synchronized data.
3. Apple Health (HealthKit) Integration
Routine Dose Planner includes optional integration with Apple Health (HealthKit) to let you record health metrics (such as Blood Pressure, Pulse, Oxygen Saturation, Weight, and Water Intake) directly into your iOS Health records. This integration is designed with privacy-first principles:
- One-Way Writing: Routine Dose Planner writes vitals and water logs directly to Apple Health. The app **never reads** your pre-existing Apple Health database or history.
- Write Permissions: Apple Health permissions are requested individually per metric type. You can manage or disable sharing at any time via the iOS Settings app (under Settings > Privacy > Health > Routine Dose Planner).
- Local Sync: All data sharing with Apple Health occurs strictly locally on your device. It is never transmitted to us or third-party servers.
4. Support Communications
If you contact us for technical support, we only use the details you share (like your email address and message contents) to resolve your issue. We do not sell support contact lists or use them for marketing purposes.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we safeguard your data.
